I recently registered as walker for our 5th Annual World’s Largest Pet Walk Presented by
Wellness Pet Company to raise funds for the work of Pet Partners –the nation’s leading
nonprofit organization dedicated to improving people’s health and wellbeing through the
human-animal bond on Saturday, September 24. I have set a personal goal to raise $800 for
this worthy cause that is near and dear to my heart.
Therapy animal work is often unknown or misunderstood. Here are some compelling statistics:
Interaction with therapy animals in medical settings has been correlated with the following
effects: ï‚· Decreased perceptions of pain ï‚· Improved recovery rates ï‚· Decreased anxiety & stress ï‚· Less fear and worry in patients ï‚· Improved biobehavioral markers of stress
Pet Partners (PP) is dedicated to a future where every visit requested can be filling by an
incredible therapy animal team. PP mission is to improve human health and well-being
through the human-animal bond.
You can support my efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution to Pet Partners:

With your help, we will fund important work and bring life-changing therapy animal visits to
millions of people. If you have questions about the Walk or the work of Pet Partners, please do
not hesitate to contact me. Thank you in advance for your support!
Happy Trails!
